Our GCSE RE students recently visited the Holocaust Galleries at the Imperial War Museum, where they explored the history of the Holocaust through powerful personal stories, artefacts and interactive displays.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Holocaust, encouraging reflection on the consequences of prejudice, discrimination and hatred, while reinforcing the importance of remembrance and learning from the past.

We recently celebrated the installation of our collaborative community artwork at Priors Orchard. The students behind the winning designs had the opportunity to visit the finished piece in person and see their artwork as a permanent feature of the local community.

It was a proud moment to see their ideas brought to life through the fantastic craftsmanship of Ollie Taylor, who manufactured the laser-cut marine-grade steel artwork.

Congratulations once again to our talented students, and thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible, including David James for his continued support throughout the project. We hope this artwork will be enjoyed by the Southbourne community for many years to come.
