NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Engineering
This course is delivered through 4 lessons a week. It is assessed through one exam of one hour thirty minutes and a 20 hour controlled practical assessment
Students learn a broad range of engineering principle covering sectors such as Aeronautical and software Engineering
Student Quotes
I learned about centre of gravity and balance so that the plane will start flying level, when we get some flight data information I hope to improve the flight further.
I have worked on the space frame structure to make it light but strong. The materials we have made it from including balsa and pine have been difficult to work with as they are weak. So we need a stronger but light wood to work with
