Student Quotes

I learned about centre of gravity and balance so that the plane will start flying level, when we get some flight data information I hope to improve the flight further.

I have worked on the space frame structure to make it light but strong. The materials we have made it from including balsa and pine have been difficult to work with as they are weak. So we need a stronger but light wood to work with

Aiden Webster

The students were using CADCAM and a laser cutter to cut out the various components to make the ribs for the wing structure and fuselage. Some students were actively covering the wing and using dope to harden the covering.
