Dear Parents / Carers

I do hope that Hello Yellow Day finds you all in good health.

As you know, we have had an amazing Sports Day and been raising awareness of young people’s mental health today, by everyone being encouraged to wear something yellow and taking part in a whole day of sporting activities.  The students have been amazing and taken part brilliantly.

West Sussex County Council have sent out a link to schools to share with students and parents regarding emotional wellbeing and mental health and which is below, so please click on the link below to access help and advice.

We have another busy week ahead with our annual Open Evening next, Thursday 14 October 2021 at 5.00pm.

A few updates this week –

Open Evening
All students will finish at 12.50pm this Thursday, to prepare the school for Open Evening.  The buses will run as normal at 12.50pm.  Students who have been invited to be in school that evening will need to return for 4.30pm.

Lateral Flow Tests
Many thanks for your support on this and please continue with the twice weekly testing for students.

Student Covid Vaccinations
We will let you know as soon as we receive information regarding vaccinations for those students who missed them this week.

School Photographs
We have had some issues highlighted regarding the photos this year and we are trying to resolve this with the photography company.

The latest newsletter can be found on the website, please do have a look and note the important dates.

Wishing you all a restful weekend.

Kind regards

Yvonne Watkins
