We have now appointed 14 new Rights Respecting School Ambassadors across year 7, 8 and 9. These ambassadors will form a steering group which meet to decide further actions the school can take to fully support the Rights of Children. There are a wide range of ways they will promote RRSA and children’s rights, and have a positive impact in our community, local area or even beyond.

They will continue on our journey to be a school with students who are fully aware of their rights and can confidently speak up when they feel their rights are being challenged. They will also appreciate the need for children’s rights to be realised everywhere.

Student’s opinions are sought, encouraged and respected in all aspects of our work. Student leadership is an integral part of the school’s ethos. School Voice which includes the new Rights Respecting School Ambassadors is an excellent opportunity for students to have the opportunity to lead aspects of school life.
