Dear Parents & Carers
Welcome back
We have had a good start to the Summer term and students have already taken part in many activities, many supporting one another as with the Year 11 PE Assessments this week.
Exams
As you will know, we only have three weeks until the beginning of the GCSE exams and Year 11 preparation and revision is happening. Teachers are putting on many revision sessions and I would ask all Year 11 parents to encourage their son/daughter to attend as much as they can, so we can support them over the next few weeks.
Strike Days
You will also be aware of the strike days, next Thursday 27 April and Tuesday 2 May 2023. Despite this, we are doing our upmost to ensure Year 11 are taught as much as possible. The plan is that all students will receive online work on Thursday – Year 11 teachers will make sure this relates to where they are in their course and it may be paper and/or online.
The school will be closed for all students.
On Tuesday 2 May – Year 11 only will be in school for their lessons and I would ask that all do attend. The school will be closed for Years 7-10.
Summer Uniform
Students may wear Summer uniform as from Monday 5 June. Please find our uniform list on the school website – https://bourne.org.uk/uniform/
